Former Indian veteran batsman Gautam Gambhir believes that Pacer Umesh Yadav will not be able to make a place in India's Playing-XI in the third Test against England starting today. Gambhir said that if the Indian team gets down with three fast bowlers, then Ishant Sharma, Jaspreet Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj should be given a chance.

Gambhir said in a Star Sports TV show, 'I don't see Umesh Yadav in the playing-eleven. If India has to play with three seamers, it should give Ishant Sharma, Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj a chance. Siraj looks very impressive, the way he bowled in the series against Australia. Incoming his performance in the second Test match was commendable.

He said, 'There was nothing special for the fast bowlers in the second Test match of the series against Australia, but the way they were moving the ball, the speed they were getting, they were very impressive. So I think these three fast bowlers will play in the pink-ball test match.

After defeating England in the second Test in Chennai, the Indian team captained by Virat Kohli is full of confidence. Another win would bring him closer to a place in the final of the first World Test Championship. India must win the series with a margin of at least 2–1 to reach the final of the championship.
