How to identify fake iPhone vendors, original Apple products - follow the steps

If you're looking to buy an Apple product, read this carefully. We all know that Apple iPhones are the most premium products sold across the world when it comes to smartphones. However, a lot of people get lured by unverified offers and think of buying these expensive gadgets at a cheaper price. Taking advantage of this, many scamsters and fake sellers use social media platforms like Twitter, WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook to sell fake iPhones at cheap prices.

Taking complaints from consumers across the world, Apple has now warned these sellers against counterfeit products and said that they are going to take legal action and that they have formed a team to track these things.

According to a report, this comes in the aftermath of an incident where charging an iPhone turned into a life-threatening task for Andrea Stroppa, a cybersecurity researcher as it exploded after the phone was plugged in for charging. Stroppa later discovered that a counterfeit Apple product was bought through an unofficial channel on Instagram.

To identify genuine Apple accessories against the fake ones, here's what you need to do: Many experts revealed that a customer should always check and cross-check the serial number of the product before they buy it and it can only be done by visiting Apple's official website. Additionally, the real product can also be identified through IEMI number.

Meanwhile, Apple is reportedly working on a major display upgrade on iPhone 13 -- the first iPhone likely to get a high refresh rate. Apple is expected to include LTPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) displays in the iPhone 13 lineup.

Apart from the major display changes, the iPhone 13 is expected to come with camera upgrades too. Apple iPhone 13 models expected to be launched later this year would "likely" feature a fingerprint scanner embedded under the display for authentication, in addition to Face ID.
