Harry Potter Actress Afshan Azad Announces Pregnancy With Stunning Pics Of Baby Bump

Actress Afshan Azad, who played the role of Padma Patil in all-time favourite Harry Potter film series, is expecting her first child with husband Nabil Kazi. Afshan and Nabil will welcome their baby in July, the actress revealed in an Instagram post on Monday. 

Sharing a breathtaking photograph of herself and her husband cradling her baby bump at an outdoor location, the actress wrote: "The secrets out everyone - I'm going to be a mummy! Thanking Allah SWT for gifting us our biggest blessing yet. Baby Kazi due this July inshAllah. Both our hearts are filled with love, excitement and nerves! Not long to go, please keep us all in your prayers."

In the picture, Afshan Azad looks gorgeous in a grey dress. Her Harry Potter co-stars Scarlett Hefner and Evanna Lynch sent her best wishes and lots of love in the comments section. 

Evanna, who portrayed the role of Luna Lovegood in the series, wrote: "Awww congratulations Afshan, you're going to be amazing parents!" Scarlett, best-known for playing the role of Pansy Parkinson in the Harry Potter series, commented: "Beautiful! We are so excited for you both and cannot wait to meet Baby Kazi."

In a separate post on Monday, the actress thanked her friends and fans for "kind comments and well wishes" and wrote: "We were so overwhelmed with everyone's positivity and love yesterday. Baby Kazi is already so loved. PS. prepare for a major bump photo-dump over the next few days/weeks. Sorry not sorry." Afshan Azad's smile in this picture reflects her happiness.

Afshan Azad first featured in the Harry Potter series in the fourth instalment - 2005's Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire. 

She went on to appear in Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince and Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows - Part 1 and Part 2. The role of Padma Patil's twin sister in the film series was played by British actress Shefali Chowdhury.
