Jurassic World Dominion preview to be attached to Fast and Furious 9 IMAX screenings

The makers of Jurassic World: Dominion, which is the third film in the Jurassic World franchise, have treated fans to the first look of the film. The official Twitter handle of Jurassic World announced that the film will be released next Summer. However, they promised a five-minute preview of the film that will be released soon. But, there's a catch. the preview can only be watched during the IMAX screenings of F9, the ninth Fast and Furious film.


The 5-minute preview clip of Jurassic World: Dominion gives a sneak peek into the new species of dinosaurs. The film is set 65 million years ago. Announcing that the preview clip will be available this Friday (June 25) only on IMAX screenings of F9 with a teaser video, the Jurassic World Twitter handle wrote, "Next summer, dinosaurs rule the earth. Get a sneak peek this Friday, only on IMAX screenings of #F9 (sic)."

Jurassic World: Dominion preview clip will give a brief glimpse into a clash between a T-rex and the Giganotosaurus, a new addition to the franchise. The short clip released to announce the release of the preview video promises Jurassic World 3 is going to be a visual extravaganza. The film stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in lead roles.


Last year, during his appearance on Ellen DeGeneres' show, Chris Pratt had called the film’s script ‘unbelievable’. He had said, "It’s got everybody. It’s got pretty much everybody in it. Maybe I just blew it, but I don’t care. All of the cast from the original Jurassic Park is coming back, so it’s going to feel very much like how Endgame brought everything together at Marvel."


Jurassic World: Dominion is directed by Colin Trevorrow. The film will pick up from the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which concluded with dinosaurs escaping into the world after being freed. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will reprise their roles of Owen Grady and Claire Dearing, respectively. Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, Isabella Sermon, Mamoudou Athie, DeWanda Wise, Dichen Lachman, and Scott Haze are the new additions to the cast.

The shooting of Jurassic World: Dominion started in 2020. However, the shoot had to be stalled due to the coronavirus pandemic. The shooting was resumed in June 2020. It is scheduled to hit screens on June 10, 2022.
