Nothing ear (1) truly wireless earphones price in India set at Rs 5,999, cheaper than US and UK pricing

Nothing ear (1) is the first product from the all-new venture by Carl Pei, and the brand isn't leaving any stone unturned to create buzz around the upcoming launch. We may still be a few weeks away from the global unveiling of the Nothing ear (1), though the company has announced the Indian pricing of the product in advance.

The Nothing ear (1) will be available in India at Rs 5,999. Notably, this is way cheaper than the pricing of the new truly wireless earphones in markets like the UK, Europe, and the US. To compare, the ear (1) truly wireless earphones will be available in the UK at GBP 99, which translates to roughly Rs 10,200, while in the US, it will be available at $99, which translates to roughly Rs 7,300. Similarly, Carl Pei revealed the pricing of the ear (1) for the European markets, which is set at EUR 99, which translates to roughly Rs 8,700.

The company has already confirmed features like Active Noise Cancellation on the ear (1) truly wireless earphones. Nothing has also revealed that the TWS will sport three high definition mics to bring your music, films and podcasts into sharp focus.

Announcing the pricing of the ear (1), Manu Sharma, Vice President and General Manager, Nothing India, said, “India is an important market for Nothing, and in partnership with Flipkart, we look forward to introducing ear (1) to Indian users at the same time as our global launch."

"It is important for us to bring value to our Indian users from day one. Starting with the ear (1), our products will be uniquely designed and easy to use. Above all, they will be devices we are proud to use ourselves and recommend to our friends and family," Sharma added.

The ear (1) aggressive pricing puts it against some of the most popular truly wireless earphones available in the country, under Rs 10,000. Interestingly, a Counterpoint report recently revealed that OnePlus was the second biggest TWS brand in India in Q1 2021.

Nothing's product pricing for the ear (1) may help it push the sales numbers as well as help the consumer spread good word about Carl Pei's new venture.
